40 Summer Fun Plans- 2012

Every season Justin and I make a list of things that we want to do that are specific to the time of year. We put it on our fridge and cross it off as we do them. It's been A LOT of fun! I've decided that I am going to do better about documenting these adventures with pictures. (Hence the blog.)
Here is this season's list in no particular order:

1.   Play lawn games
2.   Go camping 8/1-8/4 YELLOWSTONE W/ the extended miller bears
3.   Camp out in our living room  7/14/12
4.   Go on hike 7/24/12 Crimson Trail w/ Amanda, Emma & Julie

5.   Have a bon fire 8/1-8/4 YELLOWSTONE W/ the extended miller bears
6.   Make smores 8/1-8/4 YELLOWSTONE W/ the extended miller bears
7.   Roast hot dogs 8/1-8/4 YELLOWSTONE W/ the extended miller bears
8.   Go swimming
9.   Watch a movie outside
10.  Eat a popsicle Justin surprised me with a freezer for our garage and this was one of our first big freezer purchases. :) Mmmmhmmm!

11.  Play with sidewalk chalk 7/2 Drew the battle ground for our FHE tank war

12.  Go to a rodeo or demolition derby 7/14/12 w/ the Browns

13.   Watch fireworks 6/23 South Ogden Days w/ Julie, Jeremy & Jill, 7/3 Logan Fireworks at Aunt Merna's and Uncle Steve, 7/4 fireworks in Lewiston

14.  Go on a picnic Yellowstone
15.   Barbeque
16.   Eat corn on the cob
17.   Tony’s Grove  7/27 w/ the Roberts        
18.   Throw a Frisbee
19.   Throw a football 7/9 FHE

20. Go to the zoo 6/23 Hogle zoo with the Sampsons

21.  Go to the cabin 7/6-7/8 w/ the Browns and Blackers

22.Eat cotton candy 6/17 Angel's game

23. Go to a fair
24.Watch the sunrise/sunset Mt. Naomi hike w/ the Roberts 7/27
25. Go for a run together
26. Smell the grass  Every Thursday morning :)
27. Plant something & watch it grow We are growing tomatoes & Peppers in pots.
I'm just waiting for the "fruits of our labors" to post a picture :)
28. Go on a walk with family Yellowstone
29. Feed the ducks at first dam 7/9

30. Drive up to Bear Lake FHE/Ella's birthday with the Anderson's & Roberts
31. Go to the farmers market Just Natalie w/ her friend Tami.
32.Eat watermelon & strawberries
33. Eat ice cream on a cone 6/11

Justin invited some people to join us at Cold Stone for my birthday. 
It was a fun end of the day. Three cheers for great family & amazing friends!

Okay, so Justin and I forgot to take a picture of ourselves and truth be told we didn't eat our ice cream on a cone so we may have to "sacrifice" and cross this one off again another day. :) As you can probably guess- I feel really bad about it.

Here is Justin with one of the famous Smithfield "lionpups" (homemade corn dogs). He has told me about them for almost 3 years and yesterday I finally tried one. It was delicious but mostly I was loving the small town feel of the game. There were so many people there and I was just soaking in the conversations and the fun fans around us. 

WE WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN!
